Been getting ready to start on some new costumes. My friend Rabbit (that's her nickname)doesn't have the cash to spend on Halloween costumes for her kids. So i've offered to modify somethings for them.
Naya wants to be a princess.
So, i'm thinking of modifying a dress from valu village. Find a kids pretty white dress, I'll add some lace to it, and maybe make a satin cape, or something similar. I would imagine that at halloween I should be able to find some sort of costume satin, to make something out of. I want the costume to be warm and functional. So, i'm thinking a longer dress, a few inches off the ground. I was trying to think of different princess-ey type fabrics and looks. I'm going to list them here so I can re-check this tomorrow.
Princess:
Dress-
Bows, Fabric Flowers, Crinoline, Lace, Corset Details.
1 Pr White gloves, arm length.
Tiara or Cone Hat, with fabric train.
Golden Septre

Brianna would like to be a witch.
Now, i'm not sure if she wants to be a cute witch or a scary witch. Either way, i'm thinking a gothic style.
Black Dress- Corseting details, Waist band fabric (something flowy, add some sequins.
Arm warmers, made out of either fishnet or that spiderweb fabric. Classic Witch hat, made out of potentially craft foam with maribou trim.
Planing on grabing or making some accessories. An amulet or something, with some fake jewels.

My costumes, I may be able to pick up some stuff. I figure, I could grab some fabric for cornelia, at least. Maybe i'll start with the cape.
